Who we are

Child Sleep Solutions is run by Nicola Watson, a children's sleep consultant based in Chislehurst, UK. In this policy, "I", "me" and "we" mean Child Sleep Solutions.

This policy explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, how I keep it safe and the rights you have. I am the data controller for your information.

What information I collect

When you sign up for a free guide or my emails, I collect your first name and email address, and whether you have agreed to receive my sleep tips and news.

When you contact me, by email, through my website or on social media, I collect your name, contact details and anything you choose to tell me in your message.

When you book a sleep package, I collect the information I need to support your family. This includes your contact details and information about your child, such as their name, age, sleep routine, feeding and any relevant health information you choose to share.

Information about a child's health is classed as special category data, so I only collect it with your explicit consent and only use it to help with your child's sleep.

I will never sell your information or use it for anything you would not reasonably expect. I only send marketing emails if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who I share it with

I use a small number of trusted service providers to run my business. They only use your information on my instructions and must keep it secure.

  • FunnelSketchers, which stores my contacts and sends my emails. Its platform is run by LeadConnector.

  • Wix, which hosts my website.

  • Cloudflare, which checks sign-up forms for spam.

  • Microsoft (Hotmail/Outlook), which provides my email inbox.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside the UK, including in the USA. Where this happens, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law to protect it.

I will only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it, or if I believe a child is at risk of harm.

  • ask me to limit how I use it, or object to me using it

  • ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere

  • withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email me at childsleepsolutions@hotmail.co.uk to use any of these rights. I will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please contact me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
